Carbon-Neutral Transport

I've been looking into carbon-neutral transport and have discovered the velo-bike! My search turned up the stunning Go-one designed by Michael Goretzky.

My research found that the only New Zealand dealer (he was importing Aero Rider's from the Netherlands) has stopped doing so due to the prohibitive price ticket of $16,000 NZD.

Sad, because I want to try one out!

The benefits are enormous. You can lose weight, get fit, stay dry, use cycle lanes, pass traffic, save time, save money, wear normal clothes, motor up hills, save money on regos, WOF and drivers license, be seen by other drivers, advertise your business, and be carbon neutral.

Bio-degradable Plastic Bag

I usually refuse plastic bags... but I bought a second-hand book at Whangamata over summer and the store owner gave me this plastic bag which claims it will disappear within 18 months of disposal. They are manufactured by www.eco-pal.co.nz
